Troy Leber - State Manager of Property Finance with BankWest. The BankWest Property Finance Unit was established with a brief to manage the Bank’s larger property exposures and to develop a central area of expertise in the structuring and funding of significant and specialised property transactions. Over the past ten years, the Property Finance Unit has grown its presence such that it is one of the State’s largest lenders against commercial property. BankWest lends to all sectors of the property industry and has both development & investment exposures.
Cliffe Rocke - Chartered Accountant with over 23 years experience in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency, Personal insolvency, financial investigations and Corporate Restructuring. He has held senior positions including Partner in leading “boutique” corporate restructuring practices in Western Australia and has held a senior position in one of the big 4 banks in the risk area. Cliff has completed two 16 months stints in a major Big 4 bank in the Risk area working with clients displaying impaired characteristics. Cliff’s role was to assist in mitigating the bank’s exposure and or returning the client to the line with sound business strategies and protocols. Cliff has gained invaluable insight into the credit risk operations of a bank and the expectations and requirements of clients in these circumstances.
Miles Rowe AAPI - Divisional Director, City Sales (WA), Savills Australia - recently completed the sale of the Kwinana Hub Shopping Centre for $30 million and Woolworths Shopping Centre Busselton for $13 million. He has recently completed the $95 million sale a share in the Alluvion office development to CPA. Miles also acted for the vendor in the $300 million sale of the 243 hectare Alkimos Residential Land holding to Peet & Co in December 2007. He has extensive experience with major clients in Perth retail and office investments. His valuation background has assisted in portfolio analysis and feasibility studies.
The Division’s YPP Committee have brought together experienced speakers on a theme that is particularly relevant in 2010.

Graduate Education Programme 2007
Graduate Workshop 7 - Inspection of a Non Residential Property & Report Writing
This workshop requires Graduates to inspect and prepare a valuation report of a near-city non-residential building.
Registrants will develop skills in inspection methodology, research, analysis, valuation techniques and preparation of valuation reports in accordance with the 5th Edition API/PINZ Professional Practice and Code of Conduct of the WA Land Valuers LIcensing Act.
